The NORTH BALTIMORE AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE held its Annual Dinner Meeting on April 28th at the American Legion Hall, North Baltimore. Approximately 60 people attended, representing various businesses and organizations in North Baltimore and the surrounding area.

Whistle Stop Inn provided the buffet-style dinner for the evening and Hancock Wood Electric the appetizers during the social hour. Wood County Board of Developmental Disabilities provided the dessert.

 
The main program for the evening was given by Jim Steffen "America's Fun Fitness Coach". He is from Findlay, OH. Jim is the previous owner of Jim's Gym in Findlay and has been a personal trainer for many years. Jim is a motivational speaker as well as an author and entertainer. He has appeared on "The Jay Leno Show" and "Regis and Kelly". Jim provided a very fun and entertaining program, interacting with the audience throughout the performance. He stresses the importance of his 5 "STEPP" program: Sacrifice, Target, Enthusiasm, Patience, and Perseverance.
He has developed his own exercise program utilizing a large exercise ball and did many moves with the ball that night. He stressed the importance of living a healthy lifestyle and remembering the Big -O-: OPTIMISM.Dennis Miller helps demonstrate a move with the help of Jim  Wymer and Chet Marcin

A 50/50 drawing was also held.
Patty Cunningham from First Federal Bank won the drawing, taking home $85.

Election of officers and trustees took place after the dinner.
The duties of Chamber President were officially turned over to Kathy Healy. Jaimye Bushey was voted in as Vice President.
New Trustees voted in were: Dennis Miller, Gregg Glamm, and Mark Kuligowski.

Continuing officers for the Chamber are:
Brenda Stimmel/Secretary, Skip Baltz/Treasurer

Continuing Trustees are:
Susan Kronbach (Past-President), Diane Ragless , Jay Instone.
